Margaret Lynch – Managing Director and Founder of Homes 2 Rent
Maggie Lynch, who has many years experience in residential lettings, property management and relocation is the founding inspiration of the company. Living in Qatar since 1995, Maggie has had the unique opportunity to intimately know and understand the real estate market in Doha as well as the very special needs of her clientele. Maggie remembers well when she first began the task of relocating to Doha twenty years ago, a process that began a long time before she arrived”. At first we were all excited about the thought of moving to the Middle East. We were fully entrenched in the hundreds of details that had to be done. It wasn't until the first morning that my husband left for work that the reality hit me of where we' d come and I quickly became overwhelmed. Suddenly my confidence that we'd made the right decision began to evaporate I felt isolated, lonely and I wanted to go home". Since those early days Maggie has realised she was not on her own in her feelings of being unsettled. Dr. Betsy Wells a family therapist who has lived overseas since 1992 states, "It's not just the employee who signs that contract, often it's an entire family. Typically it's the woman who has the most difficult adjustment and even the most confident women can succumb to feelings of vulnerability and depression". Due to of her early experiences in Doha, Maggie launched Homes 2 Rent because she understands the needs of people in transition and her company is unique in Qatar as it offers the Welcome to Doha Services to address those needs that are not catered for by others
George Coleman – General Manager
George, Maggie’s son, joined Homes2Rent in 2001 after completing his A levels at Doha College. Since then he has successfully undertaken all roles in the office from leasing agent, to accounts and maintenance and has progressed to General Manager. In this role he is responsible for client and landlord liaison as well as assessing new business opportunities for the company.
Andrew Lynch MICE BSc (Eng) Hons – Operations Manager
A Chartered Civil Engineer, specialising in infrastructure, Andy has 25 years experience in the Gulf. Andy has a successful track record in delivering infrastructure projects for major organizations and joined Homes 2 Rent as Operations Manager in 2011. He brings with him extensive organisation and managerial experience and has prime responsible for the general organization and running of the accounts, maintenance and leasing operations of the business.
Sharon Fernando – Office Manager
Sharon joined Homes2Rent in 2006. Sharon is responsible for the daily running of the office including coordination of client inventories (both new and departing clients), coordination of rent renewals, review of cleaning requirements and coordination of the cleaning team (mobile cleaning team of 4)
Emesha Navaratne – Leasing Coordinator
Newly recruited in 2015, Emesha has a background in call centre operations. She is responsible for the allocation of clients to our team of 10 agents leasing agents and coordination and follow up with the clients.
Pethum Chathuranga – Maintenance Manager
Pethum joined Homes 2 Rent in 2013 and brings with him 10 years experience of running hotels in Sri Lanka. He is responsible for the coordination and allocation of all maintenance works to the 18 strong maintenance team
Mohammed Ranees – Senior Accountant
Ranees joined Homes 2 Rent in 2008 and is responsible for all accounting matters within Homes 2 Rent. To assist him Homes 2 Rent have two other accountants.
